my weapon of choice

I’ve always been a writer. I first read my original poetry in front of a crowd at 14, but I did run off the stage in tears.
Since then, I’ve made my love of writing my career by helping brands find their voice. I'm currently working as a brand copywriter at GetYourGuide but have experience writing for clients ranging from SoundCloud to Pokémon.  The secret to my work is lil bit of spice–preferably Lao Gan Ma chili crisp. 
Writing poetry is still my passion. I just try to cry a little less. I’ve published pieces in literary journals and online zines. I also periodically dip my toes in journalism and translation.
I’m currently based in Berlin, the closest thing I have to a hometown but was born in Prague, raised in New York and Berlin, and educated in Amsterdam and Hong Kong. I’m a native English speaker with C1 German, conversational Dutch, an American passport, and rights to work in Germany. 
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking elaborate meals for friends and family, getting lost in foreign cities, and writing dance floor poetry.
